The East Rand Crafters Market started out doing very small markets, charity markets and later on decided that there were quite a few things lacking in certain crafters markets around South Africa. Later we started up doing our very first market in the East Rand area. People do not want to travel too far with all their stock as well as people buying due to the price of petrol, convenience etc. In addition, many crafts markets have too many duplicate stores. Some say competition is good but too much of it is definitely not good. We also found out that the current markets are just out there to make money off their stall holders and do not make it interesting for the public. We are taking crafters markets to a whole new level.
Join us now to see how we can benefit you! Our methods are tried and tested overseas and in a few markets we visited on our quest to learn all about it! And yes we too have made plenty of mistakes in the past. For starters we did a market together with a car show which saw close to 7000 people. The stall holders got the foot traffic but the public who did not want to come to the car show, felt like they did not have to pay if they are just going to see the crafters section. Come grow together with us on this exciting new market in the East Rand.

A very big part of our budget is spent on paid advertising. We have a team of top-notch marketers as well who make sure the events get as many foot traffic as possible.
Depending on the size of our events, we limit the number of crafters allowed per craft to avoid competition. The limit can be from as little as 1 per craft to 3-4 per craft.
